    About Marcurius Multi-Mission Solutions

Marcurius Multi-Mission Solutions is a fast-growing Defense technology company headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. Founded by US and UK veterans, Marcurius brings decades of frontline experience across Special Operations and Intelligence missions, with deep expertise in asymmetric warfare and the real-world employment of unmanned systems.

Marcurius is building a new kind of unmanned systems company - multi-domain, multi-platform, and mission-driven. We fuse battle-proven technologies, resilient command-and-control architectures, and operator-led doctrine to deliver capabilities that work in contested environments. Our initial focus is the rapid fielding of advanced Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) for modern maritime operations.

    Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Sr. Technical Program Manager / Eng. & Mfg., the Project Support Engineer bridges the gap between detailed engineering design, manufacturing execution, and project delivery. In this role, you will provide critical CAD modeling, technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination support across power generation, propulsion, and mechanical integration workstreams.

Leveraging hands-on familiarity with CAD tools, electrical interfaces, and internal combustion/gas engine systems, you will ensure engineering designs are translated smoothly into physical hardware, rigorous testing environments, and production-ready bills of materials (BOMs). You will actively support prototype builds, interface with vendors and field teams, and help maintain rapid execution cycles to meet aggressive development and manufacturing milestones for mission-critical platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    CAD & Technical Design

    • Create and update 2D/3D technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
    • Maintain bills of materials (BOMs), component databases, and design documentation.
    • Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards and codes (e.g., ANSI, NEC, IEEE).

Electric & Gas Engine Systems Support

    • Support the integration, packaging, and testing of gas reciprocating engines, gas turbines, or generator sets.
    • Review electrical and mechanical interfaces, control panels, wiring diagrams, and auxiliary BOP (balance of plant) systems.
    • Assist with troubleshooting design problems, prototype builds, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

    Project Coordination

    • Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and clients to track milestones and resolve drawing or equipment issues.
    • Coordinate technical documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and vendor alignment.

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Proficiency in CAD platforms (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo).
    • Understanding of internal combustion engines, generator controls, electrical schematics, and power generation layouts.
    • Ability to work onsite in Clearwater, FL.

    Work Environment

    • Onsite engineering and integration environment
    • Direct involvement in prototype development and sea trials
    • Fast-paced development cycles with aggressive timelines
    • Customer, end-user, and internal team-facing
