    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The COS HR Business Professional is responsible for providing strategic HR support to clients and advising on best practices. The COS Professional additionally recommends process improvements and Proliant services to enhance client HR practices. The COS Professional works as a liaison with other departments to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

     

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyzes client needs to develop appropriate HR strategies to increase client satisfaction and retention.
    • Proactively consults with clients and recommends HR strategic solutions to improve business objectives.
    • Plans, develops, and delivers customized HR services to a variety of business industries based on client needs and company objectives.
    • Evaluates client HR processes and programs to ensure maximum service delivery and client engagement.
    • Ensures a high level of client organizational effectiveness through a variety of HR projects such as: policy and handbook development, employee relations management, coaching and training, employee retention initiatives, performance management systems, training delivery, application tracking solutions, HRIS reports, employee engagement surveys, compensation analysis, leadership development, and succession planning.
    • Serves as primary support for Proliant’s E-Hire, Benefits Administration, and Performance Management tools.
    • Advises clients on benefit system functionality and ensures communication with applicable carriers.
    • Facilitates training for clients; coaches and consults clients and work site employees on employee relations matters including performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, and other HR topics.
    • Provides effective client relations management through proactive communication and problem resolution.
    • Partners with the Sales Department on new prospect calls by representing service and HR solutions.
    • Supports Sales training initiatives.
    • Proactively communicates with Sales on new products and services.
    • Supports teammates with day to day client escalations, working across departments to resolve issues.
    • Identifies patterns of issues, gaps in service, or processes and recommends solutions to Management.
    • Collaborates with other department to ensure optimal client support.
    • Stays up-to-date on payroll regulations as to ensure compliance as well as for certification upkeep when relevant.
    • Other job duties as assigned.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or similar field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience required.
    • Previous payroll service bureau experience a plus.
    • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required.
    • Familiarity with multiple HR disciplines (i.e. Employee Relations, Employment Law, Compensation, Policy Development, Recruiting, etc.).
    • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations; ability to interpret and advice on the application of employment laws.
    • Benefit plan knowledge (i.e. medical, dental, life, disability, FSA, HSA, etc.).
    • High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
    • Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, and comfortable communicating in serious scenarios.
    • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.

     

    COMPENSATION:

    $45- $100k -Dependent on Experience
