Performs a variety of duties directly involving the use of the CT scanner and accessory equipment
Must have a working knowledge of all operational aspects of CT scanning, including scheduling, patient preparation, record keeping, and equipment operation
Complies with Florida Department of Health standards
Demonstrates initiative and requires minimal supervision
Qualifications
High school graduate
Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA-approved school
Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)
Clear/active Florida licensure (CRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
