    Job Description

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversight of 3 ICF/DD-H homes located in Lakeside, El Cajon and Ramona
    • Manage and supervise up to 20 direct care staff including hiring for open positions, training/training coordination, 3 month and annual performance appraisals, distribute disciplinary actions as necessary
    • Coordinate and facilitate weekly staff meetings and ongoing staff training
    • On-Call 24/7 for staffing situations and behavior reporting
    • Development, revision and on-going monitoring of Individual Service Plans
    • Quarterly progress reviews on all 18 residential clients (72 reports annually)
    • Conduct quarterly Quality Assurance reviews at each home
    • Maintain familiarity with licensing regulations and all Promising Futures Policies & Procedures
    • Attend administrative meetings and act as a liaison with parents, regional center caseworkers, agency consultants (Dietician, Nurse, and Psychologist)
    • Facilitate in-service training including necessary staff instruction of new staff, orientation, and training
    • Participate in Human Rights Committee Meetings
    • All other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

    • Bachelor's degree in Education/Psychology or a related category
    • A minimum of two years' experience working with the developmentally delayed
    • Previous supervisory experience a must
    • Familiarity with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations and procedures required for the operation of an ICF/DD-H facility
    • Certifiable as a QIDP - Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional
    • Viable means of transportation as travel is required for this position

    MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK, PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL AND A DRUG SCREEN. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD

    Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
