    Position Summary: The Business Development Specialist is responsible and accountable for developing the client base of PBMS. This client base will consist of Property Managers, Business Owners, Business Managers, and Municipal officials. You will act as the face and ambassador of the local PBMS office in developing and maintaining these partner relationships. PBMS will provide maintenance and contract services for the Retail Centers or Private Property they might manage or own. This focus will be on significant items dumped on the property, such as appliances, crates, and clothing donation bins. The BDS will assist the client in removing such items legally, following all local ordinances and state laws. The Business Development Specialist will work under the direction of the Regional Operations Manager.

    Principal Responsibilities : Prospects for retail centers or private property with large items of debris or clothing donation bins in their area and conduct sales presentations (removals) to prospective clients to secure such trash items. Completes Removal Agreement, posts notice of removal, attempts verbal communications of removal notice with donation bin operator, mails out specific documents to DBO, and files all removal authorizations with Regional Operations Manager; Assist with Storage Lot documents, donation bin locations, and aging process to prepare for Auction. Builds and maintains a database of all prospective clients for continued follow-up. Always acts professionally and ethically to promote the goodwill and reputation of PBMS.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities : Good oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations; Understands the value of a customer service orientation and can foster that mentality with internal and external customers; Good presentation skills; Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word; Ability to anticipate business needs and plan accordingly; Ability to work well independently and exercise good judgment.

    Required: One to three years outside sales B2B Experience; Driving record that meets company standards; A high level of analytical skills is needed to address issues, develop a range of possible solutions, and select the best option. Class C Drivers License. Driving Record that meets company standards.

    Work Location: Home office is acceptable. They must have reliable transportation to prospect the areas identified online that may have one or more trash issues on their property. Mileage expenses will be tracked by the appropriate mobile application and paid weekly or as agreed upon.

    Equipment Supplied: Tablet and Monthly Phone Allowance.

    Goal-Based BONUS: Paid Monthly
