Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Proofreader to help us ensure our content is error-free. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in proofreading, grammar, spelling, style guides, and copywriting within the health and nutrition space and best practices for compliant copyrighting and brand claims.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Review and proof various content at multiple checkpoints, ensuring accuracy with brand style and direction.
Ensure documentation is error-free, mathematical content is accurately included, measurements are correct, and terminology is used consistently.
Proofread and fact-check content, including blogs, content, and other resources.
Identify and escalate quality or compliance risks within content team before publication.
Communicate with content editor and manager to ensure accuracy by providing feedback on grammar, spelling, and brand alignment.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Mastery of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with ability to adapt to a brand's tone.
Experience with AP, Chicago Manual of Style, or in-house style publication guides.
Excellent attention to detail and listening comprehension for spoken content.
Ability to manage high volumes under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
Clear, constructive communication skills and collaborative working style.
Commitment to maintaining compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
Awareness of SEO and social optimization (keywords, hashtags, formatting).

Hours: Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm EST
