About the position
We are seeking a motivated Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for generating and publishing content across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The primary goal of this role is to increase brand awareness, attract a larger following, and ultimately drive sales.
This role is responsible for maintaining Propelled Brands' "On Your Behalf (OYB)" Social Media Program, as well as engaging with Propelled Brands' social media community using our brand social media accounts.
The Ideal Candidate
To be effective in this role, the candidate will have a deep understanding of the target audience for each social media platform. They are able to create compelling content that resonates with the intended audience, while also being tailored to the unique interactions of each platform.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who can develop social media strategies, manage online communities, direct creative campaigns, provide customer service, generate copy, and analyze data. In the course of a day, this position:
Execute local social media by coordinating and publishing content calendars on all social media platforms for OYB program
Manage and engage with the brand community daily with canned approved responses
Ensure that user-generated content is moderated according to the moderation policy.
Manage OYB enrollments, add them to system and create automated reports
Boost posts on the brand Facebook page
Build relationships with the Propelled brands’ community and micro/macro-influencers
Set up and optimize pages within each social media platform for new franchise locations and franchisees requesting assistance
Moderate all user-generated local franchisee site content in line with the brands’ rules of engagement; alert franchisees to comments that need their attention
Identify trending hashtags to include in post suggestions

What We Need
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Marketing or equivalent
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in and/or managing social media programs for Corporate brands/companies (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn and best practices)
Experience with social media management and scheduling programs, such as Sprinklr, Hubspot, Monday.com
Experience in Canva, Animoto, GSuite, and Google Analytics; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Advertising and/or business-to-business experience is a plus, as is working with multi-franchise structures, franchisees, or dealer networks.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms –Experience in social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Hubspot, etc.
Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic, and SEO

A competent writer who can adhere to brand guidelines for social media
Ability to listen and respond to people in a calm, thoughtful, and professional manner
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, preferred experience with Monday.com or Asana.
Ability to manage time in an efficient and productive manner
Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organizational solid abilities
