Job Description

Our high-growth finance and accounting firm is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our internal Finance Team. This position will play a key role in the organization's growth strategy as we invest in our core business, expand our service offerings and acquire new companies. Reporting to Propeller's CFO, you will work in close collaboration with other senior leaders building departmental budgets and utilizing data to optimize strategic decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for Propeller's various professional services and SaaS lines of business
• Develop business performance reporting and custom financial & operating KPI dashboards; report on KPIs on a monthly basis
• Work hand-in-hand with accounting team to review and cross-check monthly financial performance
• Perform monthly variance analyses focused on actuals vs. budgets vs. constantly evolving forecasts
• Provide input and advice to Finance team based upon scalable best practices to improve results, improve internal processes, reduce or optimize costs and increase sales
• Perform acquisition due diligence and prepare analysis of business combinations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years in finance-focused roles such as:
  • 3+ years focused on FP&A and/or strategic finance in-house at a professional services, SaaS, or similar high-growth company
• Great team player and work ethic
• Superior financial modeling and presentation skills
• Comfort with data and ambiguity, and an ability to delve into details and adapt priorities on the fly
• Good communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations to Propeller
• Understanding of GAAP
