Responsibilities: • Execute effective sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, networking, and more to gain new clients • Meet with new, existing, and prospective policyholders and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options • Assist existing, new, and prospective policyholders in completing the necessary insurance forms and documents to ensure all policy requirements are met and facilitate various aspects of the insurance claims process, including the examination of physical properties • Keep bookkeeping logs, insurance sales records, and customer databases up to date to assess progress toward monthly goals • Remain educated on property and casualty insurance policies, insurance agent regulations, insurance claims, and other industry rules to successfully match prospective, existing, and new clients with the best insurance plans • Be proactive in establishing referral partner relationships to move the business forward and increasing our exposure in the community Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED or equivalent is a must; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred • Familiarity with accounting and sales-related software or programs is a plus • Candidates must have and maintain a relevant P&C insurance license - or must be willing to get licensed • Fundamental computer and Microsoft Office program skills are essential • Excellent analytical, customer service, and communication skills are required • Candidates must have and maintain an active relevant P&C insurance license. Life and Health license a plus Compensation: $65,000+ base plus commission
