Responsibilities: • Propose ideal insurance plan options to existing, new, and prospective clients after spending time listening to evaluate their individual insurance needs and circumstances • Assist existing, new, and prospective policyholders in completing the necessary insurance forms and documents to ensure all policy requirements are met and facilitate various aspects of the insurance claims process, including the examination of physical properties • Remain educated on property and casualty insurance policies, insurance agent regulations, insurance claims, and other industry rules to successfully match prospective, existing, and new clients with the best insurance plans • Execute effective sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, networking, and more to gain new clients • Keep bookkeeping logs, insurance sales records, and customer databases up to date to assess progress toward monthly goals • Be proactive in establishing referral partner relationships to move the business forward and increasing our exposure in the community Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED or equivalent required • Fundamental computer and Microsoft Office program skills are essential • Familiarity with accounting and sales-related software or programs is a plus • Excellent analytical, customer service, and communication skills are required • Candidates must have and maintain an active relevant P&C insurance license. Life and Health license a plus Compensation: $65,000+ at plan commission
