Property Claim Executive

General Placement Service is searching for a Property Claim Executive to manage reinsurance claims in the Property line of business, reviewing client claim adjustments and supporting the property team with expert insights. This role collaborates with underwriting, claims, and senior management to ensure effective claim resolution.

We seek a claims professional with 10+ years’ experience in commercial property claims, including CAT planning and loss handling. The candidate should work well independently and as part of a team. This is a remote position for candidates residing in either the eastern or central time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Manage claims from start to finish following established procedures, including documentation, loss reports, reserving, and payments.
• Maintain CAT loss experience reports.
• Communicate regularly with underwriting, marketing, actuarial, and senior management teams.
• Present high-exposure claims and emerging property trends to management and clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years managing complex, high-severity property claims
• CPCU or similar designation preferred; advanced degree a plus
• Reinsurance and claims leadership experience beneficial
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Willing to travel as needed
