    the Property Damage Claims Specialist plays a critical role in that mission by advocating for clients who have sustained damage to their vehicles or property as a result of an accident. This position is responsible for handling all aspects of property damage claims, from initial assessment through resolution. The ideal candidate will work directly with insurance companies, repair shops, adjusters, and clients to ensure that every claim is handled with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism. Their goal is to maximize recovery for our clients and ensure they are treated fairly and respectfully throughout the process. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities • Open and manage new property damage (PD) claims for clients in a timely and accurate manner • Handle Proof of Damage (POD) claims and ensure proper documentation is gathered and submitted • Run vehicle valuation comparisons (comps) to help assess fair market value for totaled or damaged vehicles • Coordinate repair estimates with body shops, adjusters, and other third-party vendors • Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather necessary information, and answer questions related to their property damage claims • Collaborate with paralegals and case managers to ensure smooth handoffs and integration with injury-related portions of the claim • Advocate on behalf of clients to maximize property damage settlements and resolve disputes with insurance companies • Track and follow up on insurance payments , supplements, and lienholder interactions • Maintain organized, accurate records in the firm’s case management system • Provide a high level of client service and support , particularly during the early stages of the case when property damage is top-of-mind Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience handling property damage claims , preferably within a law firm, insurance company, or collision repair environment • Strong working knowledge of auto insurance policies , property damage processes, and total loss claim procedures • Familiarity with vehicle valuation tools (e.g., CCC One, Mitchell, Kelley Blue Book, etc.) and interpreting repair estimates • Excellent verbal and written communication skills —must be comfortable communicating with clients, vendors, and internal team members • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and follow through on key deadlines Compensation: $45,000
