You’ll inspect clients’ properties, flag any deficiencies, and compile your findings into a detailed report. Responsibilities: • Coordinate with the homeowner’s real estate agent to arrange for access to the property • Write a detailed report following each inspection that includes photos and specific descriptions of any damages observed • Assist home buyers with any other requests regarding the home inspection to keep open lines of communication and adapt to meet their needs • Provide a description of suggested repairs, along with a range of potential costs associated with those repairs • Catalog each damaged fixture or system in need of repair so there are no surprises for buyers or sellers • Perform comprehensive home, phase, and specialty inspections (mold, thermal, pool, foundation) that meet or exceed TREC standards. • Capture clear photos, voice notes, and on‑site findings using our Spectora template. • Communicate findings to clients and real‑estate partners in plain language, supporting our culture of education and transparency. • Maintain tools, equipment, and personal PPE in safe working order; report any safety or warranty issues promptly. • Participate as a team member, including weekly team meetings to share best practices and stay sharp. Qualifications: • Current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to travel by car • Comfortable walking on roofs and climbing in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces • Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form • Familiar with basic computer software and use of email technology • Must have working knowledge of basic home systems including plumbing, HVAC units, electrical, and security alarms Must‑Have • Active Texas Professional Inspector (TREC) license with 1+ years in the field and ≥ 100 fee‑paid inspections completed. • Clean driving record, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle that can fit a ladder, ability to lift 50 lbs, and access roofs/crawlspaces. • Tech‑comfortable. • High S/C DISC profile (detail‑oriented rule‑follower who values consistency) is a plus. • Mold technician, TDA technician, septic certification, or drone certifications welcomed—but we’ll train the right inspector. Compensation: $23 - $34 hourly
