Our benefits include: • 2 weeks of PTO • Hybrid scheduling (Onsite and Remote) • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance • Basic Life & AD&D insurance 100% paid • Short-term disability insurance 100% paid • Long-term disability insurance 100% paid • Paid holidays • Paid maternity leave • Free coffee, beverages, and snacks at the office Responsibilities: • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action • Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions Qualifications: • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role • Must be a member of the Florida Bar Association • 2-4 years of recent experience in First-Party Property Insurance is highly preferred • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite is necessary Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 yearly
