    The servicer of air conditioning products with 30 years servicing the apartment housing industry seeks outside sales territory manager (aka Area Sales Manager, Corporate Account Manager).

    Type of Position: Full-Time

    Work Days and Time: Typically Monday thru Friday - 8 am to 5 pm with some exceptions.

    Location:

    Central Florida (Including Orange, Osceola, Seminole)

    Your Role in this position:

    You will be calling on existing and new customers (Apartment Communities, Property Managers, Maintenance Supervisors).

    You will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts and increasing your territories customer base by adding new accounts.

    Your goal is to build a relationship with our existing and new customers. People like to do business with those they feel they can trust and will not disappoint them.

    You will spend 75% of your time in the field visiting customers at their place of business.

    You will be selling tangible products and services to customers who always need these products and were going to purchase them anyway, just you will be assisting them in deciding who is the right vendor to partner with on the ongoing purchase of these products and that is you.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop customer relationships

    Meeting with customers to understands their products needs.

    Recommending products to customers based on the customer's specific needs and interests.

    Develop product knowledge of all products and services

    Provide feedback on competitive pricing and establish, implement, review, and modify sales plans

    Be aware of, and responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities.

    Prepare sales/budget forecasts

    Provide necessary reports, surveys, and marketing information in a timely manner, as requested by your manager

    Work with inside sales staff to maintain continuity.

    You will be required to participate in the local markets apartment industry association; attending events and joining a committee to represent the company. Events could be both during and after typical business hours. Some out of town travel may be necessary.

    Qualifications:

    Successful track record in sales preferred.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    The ability to foster teamwork and collaboration

    A strong work ethic and passion for learning

    Experience in appliance sales, electrical and lighting supplies, plumbing, or hardware/home improvement are a plus but not necessary.

    Most have reliable transportation. Your car is your office.

    Work an 8 am to 5 pm schedule (but be flexible with start and end of times)

    Able to travel as required (sometimes on short notice) to attend customer and company events.

    Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills

    Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

    Organized and capable of prioritizing workload

    Self-Initiative and capable of working in a self-management environment

    Ability to communicate with back-office personnel and navigate thru departments to find solutions and information for your clients.

    Quick learners and capable of being self-taught on new computer applications and concepts

    Be proficient at Microsoft Office Suites Products. Excel will be your friend.

    Ability to learn and use technology and software on multiple platforms.
