  • Responsibilities

    We're searching for a diligent office assistant to provide administrative support. The Property Management Assistant provides administrative, operational, and tenant support to ensure the smooth day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties. This role works closely with the Property Manager to handle tenant communications, coordinate maintenance requests, maintain accurate records, and assist with leasing and compliance activities. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance issues, inquiries, and lease information. • Assist in preparing and managing lease agreements, renewals, notices, and other tenant correspondence. • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs by scheduling vendors and ensuring the timely completion of work orders. • Maintain organized property files, tenant records, and management databases. • Support rent collection efforts by issuing reminders, processing payments, and updating ledgers. • Assist with property inspections, move-ins, and move-outs; document findings and follow up as necessary. • Prepare reports related to occupancy, maintenance, and financial performance for management review. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding property operations. • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, filing, and drafting communications. • Assist with marketing vacant units and scheduling showings as needed. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred). • 1+ years of administrative or property management experience preferred. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with property management software, such as AppFolio, Buildium, and Yardi, is a plus. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. • Professional demeanor and problem-solving skills. Compensation: $30,000 - $45,000 yearly
