The ideal property manager must be able to manage a portfolio of scattered site properties and possess strong leadership and customer service skills in dealing with residents and vendors. This position requires an individual with strong computer skills, the ability to take initiative, and the ability to be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to speak clearly and concisely with tenants, clients, and vendors. Responsibilities: • Facilitates resident move-ins/move-outs by negotiating leases, collecting security deposits and processing applications to ensure a smooth process • Maintain vendor relationships, implement budgets and coordinate on-site operations to ensure smooth operation of the property • Help create and organize marketing initiatives that generate excitement and new qualified leads/leases • Advertise vacancies, obtain referrals from current tenants, show units, and showcase advantages of locations and services to help obtain new tenants • Prepares annual budget to help make sure financial objectives are met • Respond to and follow up on tenant maintenance requests Qualifications: • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office • Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling • Flexibility in schedule to include working both evenings and weekends • High School Diploma or GED required • Possess ability to connect with a variety of personalities on the phone and in person Compensation: $31,500 - $45,000 yearly
