Family-owned Manufacturing Housing Community in Sussex County, NJ is seeking an experienced office associate with a keen interest in learning to be an effective property manager. This employment opportunity offers a 3-month training program to the right motivated candidate who has strong skills in office administration, customer service, and sales experience.
Although the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of property management, the primary focus of this position is sales of new and pre-owned manufactured homes, leasing, and tenant retention and relations.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Liaison between the company, our tenants, vendors, and visitors
Overseeing daily administration of office duties and tenant issues
Collect, post and process monthly account receivable and ensure the timely collection of rent payments
Advertise and market made-ready Rentals and Homes for Sale to attract new homeowners and tenants
Respond to sales and leasing inquiries
Schedule showings, open houses, prepare contracts
Gather data for residency approval
Maintain communication with community members and new prospects
Study and learn about the Champion Homes product line
Provide a positive experience for the consumer, that is streamlined, simple, and pleasurable

Computer savvy, resourceful and curious
Strong customer service skills with an innate ability to dissolve roadblocks
Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening and written)
Top-notch computer skills with experience in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and relevant databases and software
Five years of office, customer service, and sales experience in relatable fields with transferable skills
Ability to learn new proprietary software programs
Well-organized and skilled in time management
Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow-up
Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record for sales and closing deals
Background in home sales, mortgages, finance, and maintenance helpful
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate will be required to sit, talk, and listen! While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, reach, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and move 25 lbs and comfortably walk around the community.
