The property manager oversees the operations of residential properties to ensure they are well-maintained, profitable and compliant with regulations.
Common duties include:
Creating listings for vacant units, conducting property tours for potential renters and skillfully negotiating lease agreements
Communicating with tenants, professionally handling their questions, resolving conflicts, and responding to maintenance requests
Collecting rent, managing security deposits, preparing the property’s budget and maintaining detailed financial records for the owner
Scheduling maintenance, coordinating with contractors for repairs, performing routine inspections and managing vendor relationships
Operating the property in accordance with local landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED (an associate degree or real estate experience is a plus).
At least 2 years of experience in property management, real estate, office administration, and/or customer service.
Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft platforms
Great oral and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of home ownership, maintenance, and property upkeep.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
