General Placement Service is assisting a well-established specialty insurer known for its disciplined underwriting approach and long-standing relationships in the E&S market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and manage a delegated book of P&C risks for the Binding P&C unit (predominantly property business)
• Monitor MGA performance, ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, and evaluate pricing and trends
• Handle complex referral submissions and quote larger accounts as needed
• Maintain and grow MGA relationships through daily communication and occasional travel
• Support product development and special projects
• Provide training on new and existing products

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
