    Desktop Support Specialist ($27/hour)

    A leading healthcare insurance provider located in Boston, MA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join their team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization.

    This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $27 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide remote desktop support to off-site or remote users, resolving technical issues through remote access tools or phone support.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop computers and related equipment.
    • Hardware and Software Installation
    • Ensure proper user authentication and authorization.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), software applications, and network connectivity.
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent.
    • Attention to detail in troubleshooting, documenting issues, and following procedures accurately.
    • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
