Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple proposals at the same time.
Analyze requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposal (RFPs), and requests for quotation (RFQs)
Prepare initial responses for the RFP, RFI and/or RFQ
Prepare marketing material specific to a given opportunity
Assist with establishing and maintaining collaboration workspace for proposal preparation
Assist with updating/maintaining past performance library
Work with the proposal team to write/edit/proofread proposal sections and/or prepare required proposal components (e.g., tables, acronym lists, appendices, etc.)
Manage and lead color team review sessions including the tracking and reconciliation of comments
Develop/update document templates
Develop PowerPoint slides for proposal meetings
Work with SMEs and collect information for specific proposal assignments
Ensure high-quality content and appearance of final proposals
Lead lessons learned meetings and implement actions to improve process efficiency
Prepare and deliver the production/packaging for proposal submissions
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related area such as English, communications, or business/marketing
APMP Professional Certification a must
Ability to manage multiple proposals at a time
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and work with teams to complete projects
Demonstrated writing, research, and critical-thinking skills
Exceptional organizational skills
High proficiency in Google Gsuite, MS Office Suite, and minor graphics editing
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
Experience with proposals including reading/analyzing requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposal (RFPs), and requests for quotation (RFQs)
Successfully delivered at least three (3) large ($50M+) winning proposals in last 2 years.
Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government agencies and/or procurement process
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with layout, formatting, design, and presentation of proposals
Understanding of Shipley/APMP process and standards
Familiarity with Information Technology
Familiarity with industry-standard writing style guides
Experience working with remote teams in different time zones
