    Position Overview
    We are seeking an experienced engineer with background in Aircraft Engine Testing to join Tsunami Tsolutions to create new business opportunities around that segment of the market. The individual must have a working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and software elements required to successfully test a gas turbine engine. The role will involve creating products and services for our customers in this space, and the position may involve leading teams, presenting to the customers, as well as developing analytic tools and or products. This role demands strong leadership & financial acumen, as well as having an entrepreneurial mindset.

    Note: This position requires access to export-controlled technology and is open only to U.S. Persons (8 USC 1324b(a)(3)) or individuals authorized by the U.S. Government. Company sponsorship is not available.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Project Leadership & Delivery
      • Lead full-cycle project management for complex software, hardware and services implementations, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
      • Manage multi-disciplinary teams, including subcontractors and client personnel, across multiple locations.
      • Maintain detailed project management plans including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and performance metrics.
      • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and changes in scope or schedule.
    • Technical Capabilities
      • Ability to read and interpret the manuals pertaining to engine testing.
      • Apply analytics to uncover data quality / performance issues in engine test cells.
      • Strong software skills required, with ability to configure test cell / instrumentation software software such as PLC ladder logic, LabVIEW.
      • Ability to design, install, calibrate and modify test cell components.
    • Commercial Management
      • Oversee the development of proposals, pricing models, and quotes in response to client requirements.
      • Support contract negotiations in collaboration with internal legal and commercial teams.
      • Ensure contractual obligations are clearly translated into project plans and delivery expectations.
    • Process & Performance
      • Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews, feedback loops, and process optimization.
      • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and internal quality practices.
      • Contribute to the evolution of PMO best practices, tools, and templates.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience , with demonstrated success in managing large-scale IT or aerospace-related projects.
    • Proven expertise in quoting, SOW creation, and contract oversight.
    • Strong grasp of project financials, budget tracking, and cost control.
    • Familiarity with aerospace ERP systems, configuration management, or MRO solutions is a plus.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
    • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies preferred.

    Location & Work Conditions

    • This position may be in office at our Glastonbury, CT facility, or fully remote.
    • Hybrid work schedule available following the probationary period.
    • Travel required based on client and project needs.
