If you love the productive feeling that comes from snow shoveling and you have the stamina and passion for getting through whatever the winter season throws our way, we would love to hear from you. A flexible schedule is a must (24/7 availability) as well as responsiveness during snow and ice events and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Proscapes snow shovelers can expect to:
Be responsible for the safe and productive removal of snow and ice from residential and commercial job sites, walkways, and traffic areas.
Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines that influence safety or productivity.
Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all small equipment.
Clear snow and ice accumulations from customer sites from designated areas using shovels, snowblowers, salt spreaders, and bagged salt.
Pile snow in designated and approved locations only.
Document and report any obstacles at site(s).
Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on small equipment as required.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.
