    BASIC PURPOSE:

    The primary responsibility of the Director, Shared Services Operations is to work with the respective Shared Services departments to analyze problem areas, recommend and implement solutions for optimum operational efficiency.  The Director has in depth knowledge of the order to cash process, SOX controls, and middle office systems, and is able to analyze processes and recommend both process and system changes, and will work in close partnership with IT, Operations and the appropriate Shared Services departments.  

    The function of this role is a key element of the enterprise strategy to implement a single middle office and AR system in 2021-2022, therefore the Director will be expected to work on all aspect of these projects, from requirement, configuration, testing, and training, to go-live.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

    • Review processes identified by management as key operational pain points, work with the respective departments and propose enhancement for automation or efficiency. Example would be suspended billing and on account cash.
    • Develop and document requirements when implementing new processes and systems that affect the department
    • Business liaison for IT projects on selected initiatives
    • Key business SME on the Bullhorn One and Single AR projects: will work to help define requirements, test and roll out, in a way to leverage on production teams knowledge while minimizing the time requirement for these departments 
    • Ability to report at executive level, presenting data and processes in a concise yet complete manner and identifying risks and mitigation factors.
    • Effectively manage relationships with internal clients
    • Oversee Shared Services scorecard and various reporting
    • Other special projects/duties as assigned

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in managing and leading departments, as well as industry knowledge, preferred
    • Must have a thorough knowledge of the order to cash process
    • Must have strong technology understanding and analytical thinking capability to support solutions for operational efficiency
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication and proven leadership skills
    • Must have strong culture of partnership and be solution driven
    • Good organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrates initiative and attention to detail along with strong analytical skills
