    The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales and finance organizations with weekly and monthly sales reporting.  This position serves as the key liaison between the finance and sales organizations in providing analytical, reporting, and project management support related to monitoring and evaluating sales performance.  As a member of the Finance organization the Sales Operations analyst will partner with the Sales organization, FP&A, pricing, compensation, and BI teams to establish targets by sales territory, monitor performance against targets, report on historical trends and future projections, and create weekly and monthly dashboards.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

    • Establish and maintain reporting based on the following views:
      • sales territory
      • sales rep
      • customer size (maintain tiers)
      • customer type as defined by definitive healthcare
      • brands and lines of business
      • office location
    • Develop pipeline reporting including probability percentages
    • Create and maintain weekly and monthly dashboards as designed by SVP of sales to track quota attainment
    • Partner with the FP&A team to ensure input variables included in all reporting and dashboards such as revenue, volume, gross profit, gross margin %, other metrics are based on accurate and reliable sources linked to the finance organization
    • Develop and maintain Quartile and Decile reporting
    • Report on historical trends and forward-looking projections
    • Develop compensation modeling, planning, and reporting to align organizational goals with sales targets compensation plans
    • Prepare comp statements and advanced comp metrics in supporting calculation of sales commissions plans and measure actual attainment against targets
    • Support sales organization in explaining sales attainment against targets
    • Participate in monthly revenue forecasts
    • Assist sales organization with day to day support in understanding targets, territories and account lists
    • Ensure accurate and efficient distribution of sales reporting to all key stakeholders that are critical to the success of the sales organization
    • Monitor day-to-day business performance and provide feedback and early warning signals
    • Participate in sales team calls/meetings as required
    • All other duties as assigned

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
    • MBA preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience within an FP&A or Sales Operations organization of a large corporation (>$500M in revenue)
    • Superior analytical and quantitative skills
    • Strong technical skills with all Microsoft suite applications with heavy emphasis in Microsoft Excel
    • Hands-on experience in building financial models, sensitivity analyses, designing and building data mining models and multi-dimensional reports
    • Proven experience in creating PowerPoint presentations
