Job Summary We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our team! In this role, you will faciliate group therapies for clients with eating disorders and work collaboratly with a strong multidiscplinarian providers. The counselor has a strong ability to build rapport, trust, and advocacy for their clients and groups. Will be able to run psychoeducation groups, social skills, CBT, body image and other related group therapies.

Responsibilities

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate groups

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Prosperity utilizes LPC, LMFT, and LCSW interns and psychological assistants under the supervision of an appropriate Licensed Independent Practitioner.

Must understand the therapeutic process and confidentiality laws, and have strong knowledge of professional ethics.

Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities, and communicate with persons from all educational and cultural backgrounds.

Must demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, a professional manner, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude.

Must complete at least 15 CEUs a year in the field of eating disorders and counseling.
