    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Prosthodontic Dental Assistant to support the Implant Dentist in the clinical delivery and maintenance of All-on-Four implant protocols. This role focuses on assisting with implant-supported prostheses, including seating, removal, adjustments, and hygiene-related procedures. Candidates must be proficient in surgical and prosthetic implant workflows and possess excellent patient care skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Chairside Clinical Assistance

    Assist the Implant Dentist in delivering and removing fixed and removable implant-supported prostheses (All-on-Four).

    Support try-in and seating of prototypes, immediate load dentures, and final zirconia or PMMA prosthetics.

    Handle multi-unit abutments, torque drivers, healing caps, and temporary cylinders under direction.

    Assist in occlusal adjustments, bite registration, relines, and polishing of fixed dentures.

    Implant Maintenance

    Remove implant prostheses for hygiene or repair purposes, including unscrewing and reinstalling fixed full-arch bridges.

    Irrigate, clean, and disinfect tissue interfaces, abutments, and screw channels.

    Educate patients on home care protocols for All-on-Four restorations.

    Lab and Operatory Support

    Take accurate implant-level impressions and verify fit of verification jigs (under doctor supervision).

    Manage in-office adjustments of prostheses including acrylic repairs and minor modifications.

    Prepare and maintain surgical trays, implant kits, and digital workflows (scanners, CBCT if applicable).

    Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory infection control standards.

    Administrative and Patient Support

    Document detailed clinical notes in patient records (Dentrix).

    Communicate treatment stages clearly to patients and coordinate post-op care instructions.

    Maintain inventory of implant parts, components, and materials.

    Qualifications:

    Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA)

    Minimum 2 years of experience in implant dentistry or prosthodontics

    Strong understanding of All-on-Four protocol and components (e.g., MUA, torque specs, prosthetic screws)

    Competency in implant-supported prosthetic workflows from surgery to final prosthesis

    Digital dentistry familiarity (intraoral scanners, CBCT systems, CAD/CAM workflows) a plus

    Excellent communication and organizational skills

    CPR and Radiology Certification required

    Preferred Qualities:

    Calm and confident in full-arch cases and high-anxiety patient situations

    Able to anticipate provider needs and think critically during procedures

    Strong esthetic eye and attention to prosthetic fit, polish, and finish

    Team-oriented, professional, and reliable under pressure
