Butterfly Staffing is recruiting for experienced PSOs to monitor and document marine species activity during federal waterfront construction. The PSO team will support environmental compliance, ensure proper documentation, and enforce safe shutdown protocols as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual monitoring of marine mammals.

• Record behavioral data and environmental conditions.

• Coordinate with LPSO and site team during in-water construction.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in marine mammal identification.

• Completion of NAVFAC-approved PSO training.

• Relevant academic background or field experience.
