Receiving Workers: This position requires the ability to understand and execute all aspects of unloading, carton stacking, RF receiving, replenishment/put away, traffic cone boxing and movement of product within a warehouse-distribution facility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carrying distances up to 15 feet; while bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and moving freight Able to work in changing temperatures. Must have hearing capabilities to recognize signal horns of equipment moving through warehouse Flexibility to work overtime when needed, including Saturdays when needed Ability to read part numbers on carton and differentiate among varying typeface and font size. Warehouse Picker: The role of a Warehouse picker at West Chester Protective Gear is to support leaders and peers with the day-to-day floor operations in the warehouse. In this role, you will support the following: safety, training, inventory control, production, and housekeeping. Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment Assist in job training for current warehouse employees and new hires if asked Support improving company culture and maintain a positive attitude at all times Inventory Control: work to support inventory integrity in your assigned area. All inventory should be in a home - inventory is everyone's responsibility!! Ensure work output/production meets goals and objectives Interpersonal Skills: all communication with others should be courteous and professional. Explicit language should not be used on the production floor or in the office area Remain flexible in regards to working arrangements and operational changes - be adaptable and willing to cross train Generate excitement and willingness to 'Go the extra mile' to meet/exceed department goals Work closely with leaders to ensure smooth work flow throughout the department Follow all company policies and procedures Participate as an effective and willing team member in order to achieve individual and team goals Participate in department-specific housekeeping objectives Follow standard operating procedures and drive continuous improvement across all departments
