I am looking for one person to personally mentor in the art and science of building a lucrative insurance business. This is not a job; it's an apprenticeship for a future agency owner.
Compensation & Benefits:
First-year hourly pay: $19–$24/hour after licensing
Bonus/Commission: Added after 60–90 days based on performance
Top performers earn $65K–$100K+ with commission

Path to Agency Ownership
This is more than a sales job, it’s a clear path to agency ownership for high-performers. Our 3-year roadmap provides hands-on experience in sales, service, team management, and business development. You'll learn directly from one of American Family’s top-performing agency owners and be equipped with everything you need to one day lead your own office.
Year 1:
Learn property, casualty, and life insurance product knowledge.
Learn Cisneros Agency sales process.
Learn how to prospect for business consistently.
Grow to consistently selling $42,500 in monthly premium
Learn how to retain and review clients.
Year 2:
Maintain sales volume.
Learn business management tools to forecast and manage agency needs.
Develop relationships within the American Family Insurance corporate structure to gain a broader understanding of the organization.
Year 3:
Maintain sales volume.
Maintain a 70% retention rate on policies sold.
Learn management, hiring, and agency personnel skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
New policy set-up: Serve as a trusted advisor by uncovering the client's needs, identifying gaps in coverage, recommending solutions, and converting policies using our proven Agency Relationship Process.
Upsell/Cross-Selling: Implement upselling strategies to encourage existing clients to expand their coverage. Engage in active prospecting to discover new business opportunities.
Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Agency Relationship Process: Adhere consistently to the Cisneros Agency Relationship Process.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to innovate, share knowledge, and support each other's growth.
Requirements:

Experience: 2 years in General Sales/Service (required)
