Job Description

Eurofins PSS is seeking a Protein Chemistry Analyst to support a client team focused on developing robust purification processes for recombinant proteins and biologics across all stages of development.

Role Overview

In this collaborative role, you will perform routine analytical testing and characterization of in-process samples to optimize product recovery and impurity removal. You’ll apply advanced biochemical techniques to support process development and ensure high-quality data generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing using HPLC/UPLC (SEC, HIC, IEX, Affinity), Octet , SDS-PAGE , and ELISA
• Support purification process development through data analysis and interpretation
• Maintain detailed records in electronic lab notebooks in compliance with GLP
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab instruments; collaborate with internal teams and vendors
• Utilize Empower and/or ChemStation for instrument control and data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (4–6 years) or Master’s (2–4 years) in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with HPLC (SEC, HIC, RP), protein purification, and Octet
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and electronic lab documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures for reproducible data
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new techniques, multitask, and work independently or in a team
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position Details

• Schedule : Full-time, on-site | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Range : $26.00 – $31.00/hour
  (Based on degree level and years of relevant experience with applicable skills)
