Job Description

Eurofins PSS is searching for an associate level scientist with experience in basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques. The ideal candidate will support the mammalian protein expression group by performing basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques for various protein expression needs.

Key Objectives:

• Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct weekly transfection/protein expression experiment.

• Assist stable cell line generation of membrane proteins

• Provide general molecular biology support (plasmid preparation, PCR and cloning)

• Assistance in general lab tasks and supply management

• Work collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.

• Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice

• Appropriate documentation of all experimental results

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar discipline
• Experience in mammalian cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation.

Position is full-time, 8am - 5pm with occasional overtime required.
