Job Description

Clinical Database Administrator   ·      5-8 years of relevant experience ·      Four year college degree ·      Knowledge of Microsoft SQL preferred ·      Secret clearance required ·      Must meet DoD 8570 requirements ·      Support clinical staff in the planning, integration, acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, training, documentation, and                             troubleshooting of all Clinical Information Systems (CIS) including, but not limited to, Essentris (Clinicomp Inpatient CIS), Composite Health         Care System (CHCS), AHLTA (Client Outpatient CIS), Digital Radiography/Picture Archive System (PACS), and the Pharmacy Information           System (PIS). ·      Provide database and associated database systems administration support, using applicable technical concepts and practices using                   computer hardware, system software, application software, and configured user/system data files. ·      Perform routine system audits, providing database reporting and/or printout support. ·      Provide maintenance for the integrity of all user/system data files, data verification following system restoration/recovery, and data format           conversion procedures during data importation/exportation. ·      Serve as point-of-contact between the IT department, designated providers, and assigned vendors.
