🎵 Now Hiring: Protestant Worship Accompanist 📍 Location: Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, TX 📅 Schedule: Sundays, weekday rehearsals, and special services 💼 Contract Position | Competitive Pay

Are you a skilled musician with a heart for ministry? Augustine Angels is seeking a Protestant Worship Accompanist to provide instrumental music support for Protestant worship services and rehearsals at Dyess AFB Chapel.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

Provide live instrumental accompaniment (keyboard or guitar) during weekly worship services, rehearsals, and special events

Collaborate with Chaplains and volunteers to select and prepare music that aligns with worship themes

Prepare and display worship slides with lyrics

Lead and support volunteer worship team members

Ensure timely setup and breakdown of equipment

✅ Qualifications:

Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience leading contemporary Protestant worship in a church setting

Proficient in reading music and improvisation

Skilled in Contemporary Christian music and hymns

Ability to lead worship collaboratively with vocalists and musicians

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Willingness to undergo a federal background check

🎯 Experience with military chapels, volunteer coordination, or similar contract roles is a plus!

🕒 Service Schedule:

Weekly Sunday services (11:00 AM–12:30 PM) and rehearsals

Additional services on select holidays and special occasions
