Are you an experienced logistics or warehouse professional with a background in automotive manufacturing? Do you enjoy keeping materials moving, solving inventory challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment? If so, we want to hear from you!
We're looking for a PC&L to play a key role in supporting prototype vehicle builds by ensuring materials, inventory, and shipments are accurate, organized, and delivered where they're needed—when they're needed.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and customers.
- Receive prototype components, tooling, and production materials.
- Deliver materials to production work zones to support prototype builds.
- Maintain accurate inventory using SAP.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Review inventory adjustments and help improve inventory accuracy.
- Manage returnable containers and packaging programs.
- Generate shipping documentation and coordinate shipments.
- Support warehouse operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field plus 3+ years of automotive logistics/material flow experience
OR
High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of automotive logistics/material flow experience
- Recent forklift experience (minimum 1 year)
- Experience with SAP inventory management
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control
- Ability to read Bills of Material (BOMs) and interpret work orders
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
- Experience with Material Planning & Logistics strategies
- Knowledge of Cim Database (CDB)
- Automotive prototype or manufacturing experience
