Prototype Escape Games was founded in 2019 with one objective in mind: Become the model to which other escape rooms will be built upon. In other words, be the Prototype. To accomplish this task, you must be something worth emulating. Prototype Escape Games is looking for an outgoing, energetic Game Master who is able to give Five-Star service through acting out an interactive escape game from arrival to finish. Our Game Masters will be required to be in character for each different game they are Game Mastering in order to provide a full interactive experience for our customers. Additional responsibilities will be: - Learning and becoming proficient at using and/or troubleshooting our booking and payment systems - Being able to answer calls for customers who wish to book over the phone - Ability to learn and know our procedures and policies to ensure a safe and fun environment for employees and customers alike - Greeting customers in lobby, ensuring their waivers are completed, and getting additional payments settled. - Providing the customers with rules and game specific information before their experience starts - Getting into character and staying in character while getting the customers to their room, giving them hints, and ending their experience - Taking and sending Team Photos - Cleaning and resetting rooms for the next group; responsible for quality check of other rooms - Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including bathrooms, lobbies, Game Master Room, etc. Our ideal candidate would be someone who loves to act and entertain, someone who loves playing escape games, board games, video games, etc. Prototype Escape Games runs this business as a family; we value the opinion and ideas of our employees if it helps us grow together or better our games and experiences. We current have two games that are running and two which are being built. Prototype gathers its employees and close friends to build and improve each room to bring a world of ideas into each experience. We are looking for someone who is able to be on-call during the week, and have a steady shift on weekends. Escape Rooms typically are busiest during nights and weekends. We will have both an on-call rotating schedule and a set weekend schedule for each employee. Starting Salary is $10.00/hour and an automatic raise upon completing your probationary period. Please note that even experienced Game Masters must start at $10.00/hr and increase amount may be negotiated after probationary period. Standard merit increases occur annually. Probationary period is 90 days.
