    Providence Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant to assist a prominent government agency in Huntsville, AL. This pivotal role centers on organization development, driving efficient HR operations and fortifying employee and management relations. The ideal candidate should be adept at crafting organizational strategies, have a profound knowledge of HR regulations specific to Alabama, and have a record of ensuring smooth HR processes.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Spearhead organization development initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure alignment with government objectives.

    * Streamline and coordinate recruitment processes: from job postings and candidate screening to interview facilitation and comprehensive onboarding.

    * Oversee the accuracy and compliance of employee records in line with federal, state, and local laws.

    * Facilitate employee benefits management: encompassing enrollments, alterations, and addressing concerns.

    * Champion performance management: including yearly reviews, feedback mechanisms, and tailored employee development strategies.

    * Design, plan, and implement HR events, capacity-building sessions, and programs aimed at elevating employee engagement.

    * Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.

    * Collaborate cross-functionally, offering HR insights, and ensuring seamless policy application across departments.

    * Lead the creation, revision, and execution of comprehensive HR policies and protocols.

    * Produce detailed reports, analytics, and presentations to aid strategic decision-making.

    * Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Human Resources Manager or relevant authority.

     

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.

    * Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with a distinct emphasis on organizational development and consultancy roles.

    * Deep-rooted understanding of HR regulations specific to Alabama and federal guidelines.

    * Mastery over Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and organizational development tools.

    * Exceptional organizational acumen paired with the capability to manage multiple projects.

    * Articulate communication prowess – both written and spoken.

    * Unwavering commitment to upholding confidentiality and treating sensitive data with utmost discretion.

    Compensation:

    Compensation ranges from $35 to $50 per hour, contingent on experience and expertise. As this is a 1099 position, consultants should be prepared for independent contractor tax implications.
