Role Overview:
The Test Manager will play a pivotal role in our software development lifecycle, focusing on both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest quality of our software applications. With a deep understanding of testing methodologies and tools like Zephyr and JMeter, the ideal candidate will bring strategic insights and hands-on expertise to our testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Develop and refine comprehensive test strategies, ensuring all software applications meet our rigorous quality standards.
\- Manage test cases and reports using Zephyr, optimizing our testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
\- Design and execute performance tests with JMeter, analyzing results to pinpoint and address potential performance bottlenecks.
\- Leverage experience in LogMod-specific functionalities to tailor testing approaches, particularly for logistics-oriented applications.
\- Foster strong collaboration with development teams to ensure a thorough understanding of software requirements and facilitate efficient issue resolution.
\- Integrate and manage automated testing tools within the CI/CD pipeline, enhancing our ability to conduct thorough and timely tests.
\- Provide detailed reports on testing activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvements to stakeholders.
\- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing, advocating for the adoption of innovative solutions that can improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
\- Must possess Secret Clearance.
\- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
\- A minimum of 2 years' experience in software testing, showcasing proficiency in Zephyr, JMeter, and preferably with a focus on logistics applications.
\- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with solid experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
\- Expertise in automated testing tools and familiarity with programming languages used in the testing environment.
\- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
