Providence Staffing’s client is looking for a professional Security Guard to protect their premises, assets, and personnel in Elmore County, AL . The ideal candidate will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The overall goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.

Essential Duties:

\- Safeguard client’s property and staff by maintaining a vigilant and secure environment.

\- Proactively observe for signs of crime or disorder, conducting thorough investigations as needed.

\- Act decisively and lawfully in defense of life or property, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

\- Efficiently apprehend and safely evict violators, maintaining a secure atmosphere.

\- Record detailed notes of unusual occurrences, contributing to the safety and security documentation.

\- Conduct detailed reporting of any suspicious incidents to aid in preventive measures.

\- Perform regular patrols of the building and perimeter, ensuring constant vigilance.

\- Monitor alarm systems and video cameras, and proficiently operate security and emergency equipment.

Required Qualifications:

\- Must pass a thorough background check.

\- Eligibility or assistance in obtaining a security license.

\- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

\- Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail.

\- Preferably experienced in security roles or related fields.

\- First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position is $16 per hour.
