Our client is looking for talented and hardworking candidates to join our culinary team as line cooks. We have full-time & part-time positions available. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for food and beverage, love a teamwork atmosphere, are interested in learning more culinary skills, and want to be a part of a team that pursues excellence.
Responsibilities...
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive, sous chef, or chef de partie instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock, rotate, and track inventory appropriately
Ensure that food for a single guest order comes out simultaneously with other food coming off other cooking stations, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Be knowledgeable of and comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualifications...
Prefer one to two years of previous experience in a high-volume culinary environment
Having a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to learn is a must
Food handlers permit or knowledge of federal and state food safety standards preferred
Proficient at written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized & ability to multitask
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability & desire to work as a team member
Strong ability to follow directions, recipes, and instructions
