The Role - Who You'll Work With The HS/PRS Community Resource Coordinator will report to the HS/PRS Community Resource Manager and will work with other Community Resource Coordinators, Regional Supervisors, and Caseworkers. The Community Resource Coordinator is responsible for creating relationships with local organizations to provide resources for UC and their sponsors. What You'll Do The HS/PRS Community Resource Coordinator will: * Cultivate and maintain relationships across local communities * Connect the Caseworkers to available resources and opportunities around housing, education, employment, financial capability, health/mental health, legal, and safety to help their clients depending on their cultures and identities * Assist with training, technical assistance, program consultation, monitoring of policy compliance, and conducting program audits * Develop, allocate, coordinate, and control all community resources available for case management system * Developing and maintaining existing relationships with a variety of community resource professionals, organizations, and provider groups across the US * Assist with reviewing related reports and documentation and provide feedback to staff and the Community Resource Manager * Creatively addressing service issues, obstacles and collaboration with sites to find solutions * Assess the performance and compliance of the community resource capacity within HS/PRS program * Track and report on community resource availability, usage, and obstacles * Attend available local or county stakeholder meetings to build larger network of community resources * Duties are performed via a government approved computer system. Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel. * Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice. What We're Looking for Key Skills: * Bachelor's degree in social and behavioral sciences or related area plus 2 years relevant experience * Possess excellent organizational, writing, analytical skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team * Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, MS Teams, and ability to type 45 wpm Key Knowledge: * In-depth understanding of child welfare best practices, trauma informed care systems, and working within homes and communities * Knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare * Knowledge of local and national community social services and resources * Specialized experience working with immigrant populations * Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS is a plus Key Behaviors: * Self-motivated and proactive * A passion to be involved in high-impact work that makes a difference * A drive for excellence and continual improvement The Work Environment - Remote work, from home office. Some travel may be required for this role (~15%) to support regional operations. Work Schedule - This is a full-time position.
