    Provision Analytics is an innovative company driving change in the world’s most important industry, food. We have a dedicated focus on digital Food Safety, Traceability and Analytics within the food value chain. Our goal is to provide a single, unified location for aggregate food supply chain information. The solution minimizes the overhead of regulatory compliance through digital data capture, workflow management, and production reporting; this immediate focus allows for growing analytical capability through the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Provision Analytics aims to work in conjunction with industry partners to provide a cohesive and collaborative approach to creating transparency in the food value chain, while generating incentive and upside for everyone.

    The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management, including, but not limited to, management of system integrations, procurement, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with the executive team, partners and stakeholders while maintaining an excellent relationship with subcontractors and clients. A core focus of this role will revolve around the execution of a strategic 3-year initiative focused on traceability of bulk commodities from production through processing and international distribution. We envision this individual moving into a significant management position with the company over the 3-year delivery period.

     

    The Tasks:

    • Manage project activities throughout the life cycle of the project, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, and budgets;
    • Achieve the project budget ($10mm) and complete accurate monthly forecasts;
    • Complete detailed monthly and quarterly reporting for all project deliverables and associated budget cash flows
    • High interest, and ability to understand complicated data correlations between multiple entities
    • Act as primary liaison with partners, prospects, clients and government entities
    • Organize project teams into suitable workgroups and guide the teams through their efforts to produce deliverables according to specification
    • Work with the executive team to execute on hiring necessary to deliver on project requirements
    • Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables and micro-deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or project-management methods
    • Complete accurate monthly forecasts for all assigned projects
    • Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input and expectations

     

    The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

    • 6 or more years of experience in a agriculture, food or software company
    • 5 or more years of direct work experience in technical project management
    • 5 or more years of business development or client facing experience
    • Technical diploma in an appropriate agriculture or food science related field, or equivalent software data experience
    • Significant knowledge and curiosity around big data correlations within supply chains
    • Demonstrated understanding of agriculture and food supply chains
    • Solid understanding of agricultural production and food processing techniques
    • Able to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines
    • Flawless presentation skills
    • Impeccable written and verbal communication
    • Must be able to travel to North American sites one week per month

     

    The Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training or experience in the realm of food processing, or food safety, ie: HACCP, SQF, BRC, etc
    • Business, Agriculture or Software Engineering degree is preferred
    • Superior leadership qualities with a demonstrated track record of dealing successfully with internal and external clients
    • Significant previous experience and understanding or government grant programs and reporting standards
    • Significant experience and understanding of the software development lifecycle
    • Experience working with and managing strategic partner relationships
