    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager for a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) organization with a growing geographic footprint. This role involves oversight of the day-to-day Financial and Accounting responsibilities of the organization and interacting with executive team members as well as other dynamic internal stakeholders. As this department grows, the ideal person will have an increase in their scope of responsibilities and will be involved with hiring more team members to support the expansion of the team.

    Responsibilities:


    • Implement policies and procedures for Finance and Accounting functions within the organization.

    • Create systems for bookkeeping: accounts payable and accounts receivables.

    • Maintain controllership of the organization.

    • Maintain billing functionality within the Portfolio Management Systems and Technology.

    • Support the executive team's financial and accounting objectives.

    • Grow the organization and department through strategic planning and execution.

    • Compile and maintain finance and accounting records and activities.

    • Learn and train on operations technology platforms and enhancements as they occur.

    Required Qualifications:


    • 5+ years of experience with Finance and Accounting operations with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) organization.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.

    • Must have experience with the implementation of NetSuite (Oracle), or very similar accounting and finance technology.

    • Strong operational experience with Portfolio Management Systems and Portfolio Management Technology.

    • Strong bookkeeping skills: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Billings, and Collections.

    • Track record of increasing responsibility.

    • Self-starter who naturally takes initiative and works well without supervision.

    • Data entry skills and experience with spreadsheets.

    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
