Summary:
Our award winning client is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst to work at their Raleigh office on a hybrid remote schedule.
Responsibilities:
Configures/codes technology systems and ensures appropriate systems integration with dependent solutions; creates technical specifications when handing off to other technology resources for development; ensures all configuration, development and integrations are thoroughly tested and ready for deployment.
Maintains and upgrades existing technology systems.
Works with external vendors and product support analysts to troubleshoot system issues and provides resolution.
Works to understand the business processes supported by technology systems.
Collaborates with Product Owner, Product Manager, and other SME’s to identify and document business training materials.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/IT/Computer Science or related field OR a combination of education plus equivalent level work experience.
2+ years’ experience in technology and software development processes
2+ years’ experience in supporting business applications.
2+ years’ business systems analyst experience in an Agile/Scrum software development environment preferred.
Experience working with business functions to understand and map processes to functional and technical specifications.
Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment.
Functional configuration experience in one of the following: SAP/other ERP software and/or Salesforce/other CRM software.
Understanding of inbound/outbound interfaces is preferred.
Knowledge of SQL Databases and ability to write/run SQL queries a plus.
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
Previous experience within the consumer products industry a plus.
Experience prioritizing multiple tasks, managing tasks, and adapting to changing environment.
Knowledge of process analysis and design preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Self-starter and independent analytical thinker.
