Digital Brand Lead - E-commerce (Technical Writing)
Our award-winning client is a consumer electronics company that is looking for a Brand Manager to join their team in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to join a growing dynamic team who thinks outside the box. The Brand Manager reports directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for content marketing, public relations, and social media marketing to increase brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Establishing digital marketing campaigns utilizing various channels such as social media, emails, brand websites, influencers and professional reviewers.
Overseeing brand budgets and analyzing the return on investments.
Utilizing Google Analytics and various social media analytics to achieve digital marketing goals and KPI’s.
Analyzing consumer insights and the competitive landscape.
Collaborating with all departments to prepare brand and product strategies, and report on project progress to key stakeholders.
Preparing strategies that communicate brand elements and developing communication strategies for products.
Monitoring online presence and strive to achieve high user engagement.
Establishing product descriptions, visual assets, titles, and key selling features with SEO strategy in mind and communicating product benefits through various digital marketing channels.
Creating and updating web pages, blogs, and social media.
Developing and updating the brand playbook and style guides.
Acting as the liaison between the organization and agency partners by managing communication, timeline and deliverables.
Securing press coverage, media spotlight and product reviews with external parties.
Managing outreach to influencers and media to build relationships.
Developing and executing social media marketing and content marketing calendars.
Planning and posting content across various social platforms and developing contests and promotions to increase brand reach and increase followers.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years experience of digital brand marketing and creating unique content.
Some leadership experience (even managing interns)
Samples of writing style (Blogs or Products or Content writing)
E-commerce highly preferred.
Strong understanding of social media, SEO and email marketing.
Experience utilizing Google Analytics and social media analytics.
Strong capabilities with all Microsoft software applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Exceptional organization, time management and communication skills.
Experience growing a social media following.
Experience with publishing on a tier 1 website.
Product marketing experience.
