Independent management of a diverse subcontract portfolio through the entire subcontract lifecycle.
Apply critical thinking and contracting expertise to drive resolution of complex business issues.
Act as strategic partner to Program Offices providing solutions for subcontract strategy, subcontract interpretation, risk mitigation, and negotiations.
Advise CSPP senior leadership on subcontracting issues, compliance, and business strategy.
Support program execution to ensure conformance with prime contract terms and company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Mentor and train junior Subcontracts staff to ensure compliance and professional development.
Requires Skills and Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years subcontracts experience, preferably in an R&D / prototyping environment. DoD experience required.
High level working knowledge of FAR/DFARS clauses and requirements.
Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret preferred.
Experience effectively negotiating Terms and Conditions, including Intellectual Property rights and usage agreements.
Working knowledge of government contracting principles, all contract types, and subcontracting processes under a DCMA approved Purchasing System.
Demonstrated ability to influentially communicate with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree - Accounting/Finance
Bachelor’s degree, MBA/JD preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
