Our award-winning client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team.We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Litigation and General Business practice groups. You'll leverage technology to ensure efficient operations and provide comprehensive legal support to our attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Utilize technology to optimize attorney workflows.
Prepare and edit legal documents, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Manage electronic and paper filings, including e-filing in state courts.
Coordinate attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel.
Maintain client contact lists and manage attorney timesheets.
Process expense reimbursements for attorneys and clients.
Work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma (Associate's degree preferred).
3+ years of legal secretarial experience (negotiable).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF software.
Solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills.
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, printers, fax machines, and phones.
