    Summary:

    Our award winning client is currently hiring for 2 Material Control Analysts to work in Phoenix, AZ or Riverside, CA! The Material Control Analyst Support and maintain existing and new systems/reporting which support the Material Control data management process.

    Coordinates, maintains, and drives Material Control to change requests. Uses Six Sigma methodology to create system solutions in order to increase Material Control efficiency.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists with updates and conceptualizes new systems/reports which meet the needs of Material Control and supports the plant business needs.
    • Supports vision in regards to Material Control Systems/Reporting required in the future in order to achieve plant objectives and targets (i.e. LDP).
    • Assists with projects related to Material Control Systems/Reporting and functions within TS-12 including proper communication to management (i.e. LCMS, LDP).
    • Responds to issues associated with Material Control systems/reporting and modifies accordingly.
    • Supports the maintenance of the departmental Sharepoint sites.
    • Supports the maintenance of the departmental websites.
    • Supports the maintenance of the departmental databases.
    • Supports the maintenance of the DIVA file drive access for Material Control.
    • Supports continuous training to users, to ensure proficiency.
    • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
    • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles Performs other duties as assigned by management.

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Education: BA/BS Degree preferably in Information Technologies, Logistics or related discipline, or 4 years equivalent professional experience.
    • 2+ years of related professional software operation/training experience which would include macros in MS Excel, MS Sharepoint, MS Access, SQL, and report development skills.
    • 1-3 years’ experience in IT or Systems Development
    • 1-3 years' project experience in implementing/configuring systems or reporting tools
    • 1-3 years report development experience
    • 1-3 years' experience training others in system-related fields.
    • 1-3 years' general computer experience in SAP, MS Office, and programming experience.
