General Manager - Property Management (Family Entertainment)
Summary:
Our award-winning Family Entertainment client is seeking a General Manager to manage their multi-use property. Must possess a sincere desire to take control of a business and achieve success. To protect and enhance the Owner’s real estate assets in order to maximize the financial return on the Owner’s investment. This is accomplished by directing and coordinating Center leasing, remixing, marketing, operations and financial activities; developing, and implementing center development strategies that could include right to build activities, land control, municipal incentives and construction; recommending and implementing short and long range plans that will contribute to center profitability; and representing the owners to tenants, governmental leaders and the public.
Responsibilities:
Create and nurture relationships that create tenants for our shopping centers.
Seek out new and exciting retailers and brands that redefine the shopping experience – regardless of whether the industry says they belong in a mall.
Implement programs that drive Center profitability.
Manage team of professionals tasked with overseeing operations, facilities, finance and accounting, specialty leasing and marketing.
Direct the Center’s expansion strategy and coordinate real estate development.
Develop and execute Center budget, including partnership cash flow and organizing and implementing the Center's operating budget.
Staff, organize and develop personnel to ensure that Center operations, marketing, leasing and financial activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Maintain relationships with special interest groups, business organizations and governmental agencies.
Staffs, organizes and develops personnel to ensure that Center operations, marketing, leasing and financial activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to ensure information flow and maximize job advancement opportunities.
Coordinates activities of real estate development, expansion and negotiates acquisition and disposition of properties.
Maintains relationships with special interest groups, business organizations and governmental agencies.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing family entertainment centers, or shopping centers, or a mall, or another similar type of retail shopping property.
Strong financial, accounting, and budgeting skills.
Strong people management skills.
Track record of growing customer engagement at a property.
Track record of maintaining a property.
Track record of reducing vacancies at a property.
Marketing or retail/general business.
Self-starter.
Entrepreneurial drive.
Team player hungry for success.
